The inbox is genuinely staffed — not by a virtual assistant, not by an autoresponder — and we will get back to you, usually within a week, sometimes within a day, occasionally not until the next stretch of bad weather forces us off the coastal path and back to the desk.
Editorial
Story ideas, corrections, suggestions, complaints, kind words. All welcome. If you've stayed in a Manx apartment that we should know about — for the right reasons or the wrong ones — please tell us. If you've spotted a factual error in a post, please tell us that too, and we'll fix it and credit you in the correction.
We are particularly interested in hearing from long-time self-catering travellers about specific properties they've returned to repeatedly. The patterns in repeat bookings tell us more than any number of one-off reviews.
Partnerships
We do not accept paid editorial placements. We do not run sponsored posts. We are not currently looking for affiliate partners. If you are an operator who would like us to consider a stay, you are welcome to make the suggestion, but understand that we make no commitments on tone or coverage, and we pay for our own meals.
For genuinely interesting collaborations — small print runs, photography projects, occasional guest essays from working operators — we will read the pitch and reply if it fits.
Reader Letters
A growing number of readers write in with their own self-catering reports from around the UK and occasionally further afield. We publish a selection, lightly edited, in the months when the editorial schedule has room. Please write in if you have something to say. Specifics are more useful than generalities — the name of the apartment, the time of year, what worked and what didn't.
